Tyson, JBS, National Beef, Cargill & USDA (aka the food matrix) function like mafia style crime syndicate.

With all the propaganda around cows contributing to climate change and the wacky demonization of saturated fat (1 of the essential food groups), it’s obvious that the powers that be are making every effort to drive American Cow/calf ranching into extinction + funnel the populous into eating processed food, Bill Gates bugs, & lab grown meat.

85+% (1 billion+ lbs in 2023) of US beef consumption is imported from places like Mexico, Uruguay, & who knows where, which floods the domestic beef market with cheep foreign beef and ultimately financially crucifies American ranchers margins.

The number of ranchers that have sold out since the pandemic is staggering.

It’s old news but the big 4 corporate meat packers (who profit around 1.5X what ranchers profit on a per head basis) have been caught manipulating cattle prices to the detriment of American ranchers.

Nothing changes though.

They get a weak slap across the wrist fine from congress, but the same criminal activity continues since they make a massive net profit in doing it.

Before the 2015 Congressional repeal of the Country of Origin Labeling (COOL) Act, meat retailers were required to place labels on meat stating where the particular cut of meat was born, raised and slaughtered.

Now imported meat is deceptively marketed with a USDA label by grocers although in most cases it was only inspected and repackaged here.

On the local level there’s been a major misallocation of raw materials. Traditionally, cows within a local area were butchered and every part was utilized by the community.

The centralized industrial model has stolen this from us along with our health and sovereignty in relation to food.
